François Louis, a saxophonist himself, is known worldwide for his handmade saxophone mouthpieces, which are played by some of the most famous jazz saxophonists on the planet : Joe Lovano, Bob Berg, Tim Ries, David Sanchez, Chris Potter, Gary Keller, Jason Seizer, Emanuele Cisi, Jorge Pardo ... and many others.
He is also the inventor of the aulochrome, a double instrument of the saxophone family, played a.o. by the American saxophonist Joe Lovano.
