    Final bar : trumpeter Herman Sandy
    Trumpeter Herman Sandy passed away on May 13, 2020, at at the age off 98.
    He played and recorded with the bands of Bill Alexander, Septette Van Bemst, Charlie Calmeyn, Jack Sels, Jacques Pelzer,Leo Souris', David Bee's and Fud Candrix's historical Belgian orchestras, Sadi, Jacques Pelzer, the Francis Bay TV orchestra (later Freddy Sunder's orchestra), "Jazzfun" with Alex Scorier and his own Herman Sandy’s Jazz Gang, Five is a crowd. He also was a member of the Retro Jazz Orchestra.
    In 1955, he recorded with the Jacques Pelzer Modern Jazz Sextet, with a. o. René Thomas (gt).
    He appears on the legendary LP "Jazz in Little Belgium" (1958).
