    Vocalists David Linx and Fay Claassen (NL) have recorded with the WDR big band in Cologne, Germany. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, each section had to be overdubbed separately. An album will apparently be released. The arrangements were written by Magnus Lindgren (Sweden).

    Brussels Jazz Orchestra : the problems facing a big band amid the Covid restrictions
    The site of lesoir.be published an article (in French) on the difficulties that the Brussels Jazz Orchestra faces in the current Covid 19 context. All concerts were canceled in the last weeks. But for the near future, only few stages are large enough to host the big band (social distancing !), and acoustical and technical difficulties have to be dealt with.
    The BJO has just one concert in the future, on Nov. 21, 2020, in Ghent.
    Some recordings are planned, a.o. : WOW (We orchestrate words), and a project featuring songs by Serge Gainsbourg with French vocalist Camille Bertault.
