Thrill ! Sextet : a project composed of musicians from Belgium and Scotland
Thrill ! Sextet is a new project aiming at promoting Belgian and Scottish jazz, supported by the city of Brussels,, Les Lundis d'Hortense, the Edinburgh Jazz Festival and Flagey.
With : Irini Arabatzi (voc., SCT), Tom Bourgeois (saxophone, compositions, arrangements, B) ;Sylvain Debaisieux (saxophone, B), Lorenzo Di Maio (guitar, B), Mark Henry (double bass, compositions, arrangements, SCT) and Stephen Henderson (drums, SCT).
The 6 musicians illustrate the freshness and creativity of the European jazz scene. A unique opportunity to exchange, create new links and present their compositions and arrangements.
