As a follow-up to We out here, the now legendary album which gathered the London jazz scene, Gilles Peterson's label Brownswood presents its new compilation album Indaba is. This time, the album introduces us to a vibrant South African jazz scene. To celebrate this album, Flagey has invited some of the leading figures of the young South African guard such as pianist Bokani Dyer or Siyabonga Mthembu with The Brother Moves on (also known as frontman of Shabaka and The Ancestors). They show us exactly what their jazz stands for: surprising, eclectic and exciting.
