The Canadian guitar virtuoso Quinn Bachand hits Belgium again, now with two amazing Flemish musicians.
The Canadian gypsy jazz and folk quartet formed around guitar virtuoso Quinn Bachand hits Belgium again, this time with two amazing Flemish musicians on top: accordionist Gwen Cresens and double bass player Ben Faes!

Quinn Bachand’s astonishing talent on the acoustic guitar was already very present at the age of 11. Now, 10 years and many awards later, he’s mainly driven by his love for gypsy jazz, swing and manouche. With diverse musical talents and a bottomless pool of creativity, Quinn Bachand is an experienced performer, a prodigious guitar-player and gifted multi-instrumentalist who is at ease playing a wide range of styles, from Celtic to Gypsy Jazz. Quinn Bachand's Brishen has no boundaries when it comes to changing the musical landscape. Brishen moulds the magic of Django Reinhardt & others into an unforgettable musical experience. The collaboration with Gwen Cresens and Ben Faes can only extend those boundaries!

At Djangofolllies 2019, Quin Bachand will perform with Reuben Wier, his regular "side-kick" (rhythm guitar & vocals) and Peyton Pleninger (saxophone). Exclusively for this concert series, Brishen is expanded with Gwen Cresens (accordion) and Ben Faes (double bass).

Brishen is a wonderfully creative and entertaining tour de force from Canada's hottest young guitarist Tim Readman, Penguin Eggs Magazine
