For this year's Brussels Jazz Week-End festival, Mondocultures has the pleasure to celebrate Jazz with an exciting new band: the Don Kapot trio.

The 3 well-known Brussels-based musicians take their inspiration from African grooves (Nigeria and Mali mainly) blending it with its own improv jazz giving birth to an expression that is full of powerful sounds, energy, humour and lyricism.

About the band : Don Kapot was the first cousin of Don Quixote. Born in Mancha and emigrated in the Flanders at early age. With his very curious and adventurous spirit, he became the complete unknown alter ego of his cousin...
