WORKING WITH SCARLATTI
With their cross-fertilisation between jazz, world music and avant-garde, the trio AKA Moon have been all the rage for years. After their projects on Monteverdi, Bach and Brahms, saxophonist Fabrizio Cassol explored the world of the Italian composer Scarlatti. The upshot: an imaginative and ingenious translation of some of his worldfamous sonatas, with virtuoso Fabien Fiorini on the piano.

Par son approche rafraîchissante du jazz et l’influence de styles musicaux ethniques, du funk et du rock, cet ensemble a élaboré un son très personnel. Une soirée-voyage à travers plusieurs origines, entre culture manouche, transylvanienne et balkanique.
