Belgian guitarist and composer Wouter Rosseel’s love for Django Reinhardt, Sonny Rollins and swing jazz on one hand and reggae, rocksteady and ska on the other, has moved him to create Jamaican Jazz Orchestra. The eight piece orchestra brings a hybrid set, mixing the more traditional genres while also sidestepping to afrobeat and nyahbinghi.

The first class musicians of Jamaican Jazz Orchestra played in groups like Leki, Pura Vida, Brussels Youth Orchestra, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Congo Ashanti, Zulemax, The Rhythm Junks and many more.

Expect original tunes, clever compositions and great jazz musicians with a reggae attitude!
