Tutu Puoane was born in South Africa, but has lived in Belgium for many years. Her professional career began at the age of 18 in Johannesburg and she then became one of the most famous jazz singers in the Benelux countries. Moving from English to sePedi, her native language, the South African artist deploys the whole range of her talent.

In this quartet, the smooth voice of Tutu is accompanied by a mutinous double bass, a soft piano and is supported by an exotic and sensual rhythm. The album “Quiet Now” was named the best traditional jazz album by SAMA (South African Music Award) in 2010. Direction Johannesbourg, for a rainbow world !

On Moodio tv, a live video with Tutu Puoane and her quartet.
