In 2009, Nicolas Chkifi graduated as Master in music in the Lemmensinstituut Leuven with Master Dré Pallemaerts.
He also took lessons and follow workshops with Billy Hart, Jim Black, Stéphane Galland, Tyshawn Sorey...
He played in a lot of different jazzclubs in Belgium such as Musicvillage, Jazzstation, Hopper, Archiduc, Hot Club,...
He has performed in festivals like Jazzmarathon, Jazzathome, Saint-jazz-ten-noode, Musicalix,...
In summer 2009 he gave concerts in Portugal and Spain with Citta Collectif.
As a co-leader he is working with Alegria Group for which he composes. The band includes Benjamin Prischi, Grégor Siedl and Hugo Antunès.
Also, Nicolas Chkifi is teaching drums at the Brussels Academie in Laeken.
