From 1986 to 1994..
Melanie started musical education at the age of eight et the conservatory of charleroi, Pursuing classes in musical theory, flüte, diction and declamation.

From 1994 to 1996..
She played with her sister in a pop rock band, then became a flutist-chorist in a funk band, and in a jazz rock band called 'orange kazoo'.

From 1996 to 2001..
Melanie finally sang in her first jazz band, 'Harmadik fül trio and studied for three years at the 'Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles'.
Afterwards she collaborated with Charles Loos, Michel Herr, Sal La Rocca, Bruno Castellucci, Teun Verbruggen, Axel Gilain, Jeremy Calbert, Nicolas Kummert, Alain chafwéhé, Phillippe Aerts, Mimi Verderame, Gregory Houben.

Nowadays..
She's working with two composers and pianists, Pascal Mohy and Pascal Paulus, heading for her first album.
She also has the priviledge of playing with steve Houben.
