Pierre Drevet is a complete musician. Trumpet player and jazz soloist, he also is a talented composer and arranger.
His association with the Belgian jazz scene has been regular, a.o. with collaborations with trombone player Phil Abraham (a.o. in the ONJ, the Orchestre de Jazz de France led by Laurent Cugny), but more recently, a regular involvement as a trumpet player (and an arranger) for the Brussel Jazz Orchestra.
As a sideman, he worked with a.o. :
André Ceccarelli, Ricardo Del Fra, Simon Goubert, Didier Lockwood, Charles Aznavour…,. He also played with the "Patrice Caratini Jazz Ensemble".
He recorded more than 30 albums. He teaches at the ENM in Chambéry (F).
He led several small and large bands, a quintet, and also a.o. a tribute to the Jazz Messengers, etc...
As a leader, he recorded the album "Grains de Folie".
