Received in 2004 the "Octave de la Musique" award.

In 2006, he wins the Prize for young jazz musicians during the Brussels Jazz Marathon, a contest organized by the Commune of Ixelles and "Les Lundis d'Hortense (+ public prize, prize of the best soloist).

In 2006, the Belgian Spes foundation has given him a scholarship to study in the US with jazz masters such as Ornette Coleman, Brad Mehldau, Larry Grenadier...
Casimir currently studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston thanks where he received an exceptional "Presidential Scholarship".
