Anfass
In 1999, he created the Belgo-Tunisian group called " ANFASS " with Tunisian guitarist Fawzi Chekili, the Belgian flutist Steve Houben and Tunisian Ney player first Hichem Badrani and now Yacine Ayari.
The group plays exclusively the compositions of Alain Pierre and Fawzi Chekili their use the european and tunisian characteristics. They have made some several Tours in Belgium, Tunisia, Morocco, Netherlands, Luxemburg and France.
A CD called "Anfass" (Igloo, IGL 148) was released in 2000 (Website : listen.to/anfass)
Acoustic Solo / Duo
He plays his own compositions on the classical, 6- & 12-string acoustic guitars during Solo Concerts and in Duet with Steve Houben, Pierre Bernard, Fabrice Alleman or Bert Defoort . They made several gigs in Belgium, Morocco and Benin.
In May 2005, Alain & Steve Houben recorded a CD in duet containing Alain's compositions

Aja Trio / Quartet
Member of AJA Trio (www.ajatrio.page.to) with Antoine Cirri (Leader, Drums), Stéphane Mercier (Alto Sax, Flute, Effects) and Olivier Stalon (Bass). They made several gigs in Belgium, Germany and Nigeria.
Raphy Rafaël
Since 1994 he plays with Raphy Rafaël, songs for children.
Compositions
In addition to his compositions for his projects, two of his compositions ("Past Times", "No Sugar added"), were published in the collection " Jazz Themes of Belgian Composers " published by PAB, the "Promotion Artistique Belge of Sabam" since 1995, and were recorded by the "New Jazz Trio" (Switzerland) at the 18° Jazz Hoeilaart International's Europ'Jazz Contest Belgium in 1996 on CD (B-Sharp CDS 108) and by "Out to Lunch" (Denmark) at the 20° Jazz Hoeilaart International's Europ'Jazz Contest Belgium in 1998.
He also composes numerous pieces for classical guitar solo, trio, Jazz Combos and Jazz Big Bands as well as for various bands.
In 1996 and 1997, he wrote and recorded 3 original soundtracks for video-movies produced by " Film et Culture " and "RTBF Liège" (Belgian TV).
Arrangements
In August 2005, Alain wrote some arrangements (with string quartet) and played all guitar parts for the new CD of "Chant'Âges" (http://users.skynet.be/chantages/) (Songs for Children) available in November 2005.

"Trio Cadenza"
Alain was a member of guitar Trio Cadenza from 1995 to 2004
This project grounded by guitarist Georges Englert and Leszek Helinski who plays only original compositions for guitar trio and specially their own compositions is now working with guitarist Eric Kisteman.
Trio Cadenza played concerts in Belgium, Poland, France and Tunisia.
"Nuits" (1996) and "Quiet Light" (2004) was written by Alain for and recorded by Trio Cadenza, CD's available at their Website: www.triocadenza.be.tf
Sloong
Member of the " SLOONG " jazz quartet since 1991 till 2001 and appeared in numerous international festivals (Jazz à Liège, Festival of the Lundis d'Hortense, ça Jazz à Huy), and in clubs ( Lion s'envoile, Liège ; Travers, Sounds, Brussels ; ...). He composes many themes for the group which only plays original compositions.
Evasion Big Band
Member of Big Band "EVASION " until 1997, with which he has recorded a CD Evasion Big Band, 1994.
Miscellaneous
In Mai 1998, he gets the opportunity to play some concerts, in Belgium, with Barbara Hendricks and the " Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège et de la Communauté française de Belgique".
