URADEX - PERFORMING RIGHTS
Since 1996, money perceived on performing rights by Auvibel (money originates from private copy also
perceived from sales of blank medias and reproducing devices) was blocked due to litigation between different
organizations involved in the distribution of rights (URADEX & MICROCAM).
Uradex informs us that the money is going to be made available and distributed.
Any musician having his name as performer on a Belgian discographic production now can benefit from it as soon as he is a member of one of these collecting societies.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: BARRY RICHARDSON (BASSIST)
2nd Feb. 2002 (at 3 o'clock) Scottish Church, Ch.de Vleurgat 181, 1050 Brussels.
Dear jazzfriend/colleague,
Some of you may know that Barry sadly passed away on Christmas day. Barry's widow, Janet, has asked me to help
spread the word that there will be a memorial service.
There will be some drinks after the service and everyone is welcome.
Meanwhile, though nothing has been organised formally, a little spontaneous music would not be out of place and I
know that Janet would appreciate this. So, if you're a musician, put your instrument in the car (just in case).
Yours sincerely,
David Senior
P.S. Janet Richardson can be contacted at Ave. Prekelinden 115, 1200 Bruxelles Tel: 02.7344560
