He appeared twice at the "Montreux Jazz Festival", appeared with the Dutch trio of pianist Cees SLINGER.

In January '98, he wins the "Erasmus jazz prize" with his quartet .

In Graz (Austria), he is a member of the "European Jazz sextet".

Nico SCHEPERS is a very strong player whose lead playing and soloist talents are appreciated on the Belgian scene.

He is a member of the BRUSSELS JAZZ ORCHESTRA. He played among others with Maria SCHNEIDER, Kenny WERNER, Toots THIELEMANS etc...

Nico SCHEPERS leads his own band, the HIGH VOLTAGE Sextet, a vigourous example of post-bop jazz.

He also plays with the Bart QUARTIER Quintet (CD "Thank You", De Werf)
