Martijn VANBUEL (born 1980) completed his first three years of double-bass study at the "Lemmens Conservatory" in Leuven (Belgium) with Paul BERNER and then continued with Philippe AERTS. He also got master classes from Rosario BONACCORSO and Nicolas THYS.
Martijn is a member of several ensembles and already played with Dré PALLEMAERTS, Frank VAGANÉE, Christoph ERBSTÖSSER and Kurt VAN HERCK.
Martijn VANBUEL is a.o. a member of the quartet JAZZISFACTION, and RENAUD 5, the band of drummer Renaud PERSON.
