He studied at the conservatory in Brussels and Gent and received his masters degree in 1999.
Most influential were his private lessons with Karl VAN DEUN and Bill FRISELL.

In the pop/rock scene he is active in the recording studios and on stage.
He plays/has played with: Cinérex, Lunascape, Yasmine, Bart Van den Bossche, Johannes Kerkorrel, David Dermez...

In the jazz scene he is active with JAMBANGLE, the Fabrice ALLEMAN ONE SHOT BAND, SOMIDO,... and has worked with people like Fabrice ALLEMAN, Karl VAN DEUN, Teun VERBRUGGE, Frank VAGANÉE, Michel BISCEGLIA, Bart QUARTIER...

He has also done projects in classical music with Reinbert DE LEEUW or with I Fiamminghi.

He teaches at the academy of Grimbergen and is head of the jazz/pop department.
