Frankie ROSE comes from a celebrity Irish circus family " The Duffy circus ", his mother Marion Duffy and father Eddie Rose a known Belgian jungler.

He is a veteran of the Belgian fusion and jazz scene with a eclectic career :

1981-1986: guitarist, composer and arranger for the Chilian band MACHITUN, leader of TIMBER -a fusion band -, played with Brazilian band XORO ROJO and cuban band MONCADA.

1986-1990 : formed the jazz duet "DOUBLE TALK" with saxophone and flute player Vincent PENASSE played with the salsa band "MONTUNO" as well as with the jazz quartet "DIRTY WEATHER".

1990-1994: lead guitar for his brother folk-rock singer "PERRY ROSE", leader of the fusion band "THE STORYTELLERS"

1995: formed the band "COLOURS". This band, composed of Frankie ROSE, guitar, Vincent BRUYNINCKX, keyboards, Jacques PILI, electric bass and Michel MOLITERNO, drums, recorded in 1999 the CD Rebel Heart and toured in Europe and the US.

December 2002 sees the release of an album of Frankie ROSE with Brazilian guitarist Daniel MIRANDA : "Rencontre"

In 2003, with the blues band "Frank & the Toons", he releases the CD "Sense of Pride">

Frankie also works freelance with jazz, blues and soul artists.

Frankie ROSE is also a great guitar teacher and runs his own private little school where he teaches rock and blues guitar.
