Andreas Schickentanz lives since April 2005 in Bruxelles

- studies in Cologne (Staatl. Musikhochschule Köln) with Jiggs Whigham,
- recorded with the Schickentanz Quintett for the radio stations of Bayerischer Rundfunk BR and Westdeutscher Rundfunk WDR,
- performed in the USA, Soviet Union, Tunisia, East Africa, etc...
- played with the Big Bands of the WDR, HR, NDR.
- played with Markus Stockhausen, Lee Konitz, Silvia Droste, Paul Heller...
- member of the Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra,
