Charlie and John both study Jazz music at newpark, Dublin. The idea of forming a group to explore composition on guitar is something both charlie and john have wanted to do for a long time, and so Cirkumflex was born. Charlie (the old man of the group) was born in switzerland and grew up around Lausanne. Last year he moved to Dublin to study jazz performance at newpark. Despite the weather, Charlie likes dublin and plans on finishing his degree here. John grew up in Lismore, Co. Waterford. A place where sheep outnumber people. He moved to Dublin 2 years ago to begin studying jazz in Newpark. John has been playing guitar for about 6 years. Starting off in rock and metal bands and moving towards improvised music and jazz.
