After 13 years together and with 2 CDs under their belt, (94’ and 01’), Trio Grande collaborated with English pianist Matthew Bourne (that Geoff Amos had the intelligence and generosity to introduce us to) for a creative performance in August 2006 at the Gaume Jazz Festival (produced by J.P. Bissot).
Intelligence and generosity are also the qualities that helped Matthew enter the universe of Trio Grande so easily and with so much talent and personality.
The impact of the ‘quartet’ was unanimous and they have embarked on a tour in preparation for the recording of their third CD for the DE WERF label (release date February 2008).
