This CD was born thanks to a happy meeting between the jazz pianist Bert van den Brink, well known for his collaboration with Toots Thielemans and Philip Catherine…, and the jazz pianist and improviser Véronique Bizet, known for her collaboration with numerous talented musicians, among others with Barre Phillips, or for her personal projects in duo, trio, quartet with great jazz musicians in Belgium and abroad.
After a first duo CD with the drummer Eric Thielemans on the label Mogno (« Moon at Sunrise »), here is a second CD produced by Véronique Bizet and distributed by Mogno, with a nice quality recording due to the talent of the sound engineer Michael Huon.

The musical alchemy between Bert van den Brink and Véronique Bizet will guide you through an unforeseen journey that gave birth to eleven instant compositions, that are full of atmospheres and colours, the melodies, harmonies and silences of which will make you dream…

Let’s hope organisers will find the way to put two grand piano’s at their disposal for a series of promising concerts !!!
